Ok, here's a dumb question for you folks. I use WC browswer...even pay for it. My silly little question is why all of a sudden when I go to the threads it brings me to the web page broswer on the web?? I liked the browswer before when all I had to do was click disscusion and I was right where I wanted to be. I could set it so it would refresh after so many minutes...can't do that anymore.. Needless to say, I will most likley not be re-newing my subscription to WC browser.

Anyone know why this is like this now??

I'm unable to reproduce this problem here.

when I go to the threads it brings me to the web page broswer on the web

What specifically happens?

You should see the forum posting options in the left pane as well as quick links to the different forums. In the right pane on the top, you should see a list of threads in the current forum. In the bottom right pane, you'll have the thread.

Are you able to submit a screenshot of the problem you're having and let us know which version of the WCB you're running?

I've seen this happen a few times. Mostly after I have added a comment I think. If I see it again I'll post what I was doing with a screen shot.

Right-click inside the area where you see the Subject New Post, Reply to Post, Submit News, ect. select "Settings" and make sure all the items below the "Discussion" tab in the "Available Boards" have a check mark.

When that is completed, right-click again in the list area and select "Reset List". This should now bring up all the board items that were chosen.

Hank, under Available boards there is nothing to check mark

What version of WC Browser do you have? Mine is 2.00.021 and there are a lot of items under "Available Boards". Maybe you could re-install the browser to see it that helps. There is a link to the download in "Subscriber Resources" when you are logged-in to the WinCustomize site.

Patriots: If you right click on the blank area and click 'Reset List', do the discussions come up? This will refetch the ini file and should get you everything you need.

If the discussion boards still aren't coming up, it's likely a cookie problem.

I seem to recall mentioning in #9 about the "Reset List"

Glad it's working for you now and hope you will be "re-newing my subscription to WC browser"
